Hmm, interesting. I hadn't seen this problem before, but doing some digging I can reproduce it. This happens when the Kongregate API hasn't fully loaded before the game tries to go to the menu screen, at which point it tries to use the Kongregate API and crashes.
Since I can't fix this before the jam is over, all I can offer is my apologies that this bug went live!
The game play is very bland and boring, I'm sorry to say. The objects to avoid are bland, there's no actual background, the 'buildings' are bland and there's no score tracker. Even with just seven days, I think more could have been done. Better luck next time.
It has the potential to be a good puzzle game with a really powerful underlying message/story. But it's lost with the wonky puzzles and no explanation given. Really nice game.
The game window is way, way too big. Having to drop down to 75% is far too much. As for the game itself, it has a lot of potential and I can see the enjoyment in it. I think the difficulty is too high from the beginning. Nice game, though.
Thank you for your feedback!
I am not really happy with the controls, too. I also planned to add a lot of graphics and stuff– but kong-jam was limited to only one week. When the rating phase is over the game will definitely get some updates.
If you have some ideas for better controls, let me know.
I got absolutely destroyed in this game. With that being said, it's a lot of fun and I can see it going far in terms of popularity and possible badges. It does need a bit of polishing, but that's to be expected with a game jam. It's a rock solid game, though, and really well done. Amazing game.
