I posted the comment below me a few minutes ago when I first started the game. Now I'm done. This game is so epic I could cry, but seriously, we already need a sequel.
This game has hacks. Can you believe that? Some guy hacked it so only his captions showed up. Make it so you can only win when there r multiple captions!
@Tmac0wns As an amateur developer, trust me, this is not a good first game. It's more like average. I have no idea why the hell people think other people wanna see all their crap on Kongregate...
So why is your character 7 feet tall and terrible at walking? Also, the controls are so bad all I've managed to do is pick up a "cleverly" hidden fire hydrant. It's my guess that I use it to spray the fire, take the silver key, and unlock the door and then the game's over. Is that correct? I can't tell because the controls are too terrible to finish the game.
Actually there are 3 levels. You take the key and unlock the door. But there is still something else to do before finishing the level. And I'm sorry about the control. I look into it ASAP. And the character is 7 feet tall for a reason. ^^
Sweet graphics. Did you write the music yourself? It didn't make sense, though. No wait, it didn't have to make sense! It's great to see a fancy new typing game. No one seems to make those anymore. 4/5. One star off because you spelled "odds" correctly.
Okay, sorry for the second comment, but I didn't really enjoy the game. It didn't make enough sense, and the graphics were practically impossible to understand. Maybe next time it could be something other than squares? Also, it was incredibly short. The introduction was longer than it took me to beat the game. And no sound? Even with 48 hours sound should always be input.
The penguin's speed is a complaint that has come up a few times already. I'll definitely get that changed.
I'm sorry you didn't care for the graphics...I'm not much of an artist, so I was trying for a somewhat abstract style that I could make quickly enough.
