@darkscanner: Shame on you. :| This is actually pretty damned good for a 3-day contest project. Hey wait, am I hearing a remix of Frog's theme from Chrono Trigger? I like it even more now!
@Kittypuppet: When it's not the active tab or is minimized, flash likes to turn down framerates and other things in order to minimize the CPU load. The timer shouldn't stop because of that; it should just slow down a bit.
@dragon_of_celts: Originally, it was for 10 rares, but considering how far it is until the one after that, I changed the description to 25. Too bad I forgot to change the actual logic to 25 as well. It'll be fixed shortly.
Hey, it's Epic War, except it's actually good. ;) Anyway, when tearing up a card you have too many of, it might be nice to know if it's one from your deck or one of your out-of-deck extras.
This is a pretty neat game, although I have to offer a bit of constructive criticism: 1) The ranged attacks reach too far and have poor line-of-sight detection. This changes the "tactical" aspect into "shoot at things the moment they are visible." 2) Move All is nice, however it would also be nice to select multiple party members and move them together, too. Ideal for when you might want to split the party up into 2 or more groups. 3) Movement when enemies aren't present is cumbersome. Consider some sort of auto-next-turn when movement is made without enemies present. 4) Movement range per turn is a bit too high. When this is too high, it takes away from the tactical element because you (or your enemy) are almost guaranteed to get into an ideal position on the same turn an encounter happens. Other than that, rock on. ;)
1/5. Quite possibly one of the worst games I've ever played that had a challenge attached. I know the idea is to promote some other game, but when a promotional game is this bad, it actually has the opposite effect; you've effectively UNadvertised the franchise. ;)
This game is incredibly difficult unless you pay kreds to make it easier. Badges for games designed to work in such a manner really shouldn't be included as medal requirements.
How will I ever spend my 3.35361455277688e+15 gold? I'll figure it out after I kill 50 undefineds. PS: My character seems to forget how to heal/regen/whatever when I quit during combat, granting me an almost guaranteed death when I come back. Other than that, cool game. ;)
