How to snipe for dummies: Select your unit, preferably a commando (for rapid fire and accuracy) and move them to a position where the arc of their fire will be able to hit the target. Make sure they are out of range of the target. Slide your cursor to the edge of the screen and it will slide the camera, move it away when the target is at the edge of the screen. Estimate a trajectory and click. If the bullet falls to low then click higher (be careful not to hit those oil barrels =p) etc.... If you move the unit itself (asdw) the camera will pan back to your soldier. Hope this helps :D
Seems to be a good game overall with a indepth story line - however when I hit someone in the head wtith ANY gun 5 times and they don't die - it just pisses me off!!!!
Start in Mexico - They will let it secretly spread round the entire world and wait for international condemnation before they decide to do something =).
@ Ruguemagicmaster - I think the "bug" you are talking about is a weapon unlocked at a higher level - which is a roller that does double damage lol. Not a bug.
Yeah ok, you don't like the adds, so Kongregate is just going to remove them... and they will make money how? Hope they have alot invested to continue running this charity site...
@ Phyan - the atomic bomb saved millions of American and Japanese lives and killed 200,00 Japanese civilians in the process. Highly doubt a land invasion would have killed less than two million Japanese, plus at least one million allied troops. Considering Unit 731 killed more than 500k Chinese civilians with WMDs for no reason other than to see how they would die, I think the bomb can be justified comparatively.
I thought the bit aboout saving lives but killing millions was about the weapon that removed fear, seeing as self preservation would be minimal, the troops would be more inclined to die, not the bomb. Plus the only reference to the bomb I found was in the war ending - although I didn't read every note in the dungeon.
For those who keep posting they can't beat the igloo challenge, there are two ways to beat it: 1) You need to evade the bullets, not block them with the barrier. To do this, you need to buy the anti-bullet field, then equip it. It is best to face two regular gunmen, and when they fire charge towards them, and you will evade both attacks. Jump back, then charge towards them again. Do this one more time and the challenge is yours.
2) The other way to beat it is choose the perks which increase your natural evasion rate. However, as it can be no more than 6%, statistically prepare to take more than 1 million bullets to succeed.
*A good way to make a super shotgun is pick any shotgun as your primary, and hold "r". Then switch to your army knife, and release "r". You will now have a shotgun with unlimited ammo, fast fire rate, 0 kickback and each yellow streak will do the same damage as a single blow from your army knife (80).
Some more interesting points on the reloading weapon glitch.
The gun that you reload (either primary or secondary) will only do as much damage as the weapon you switch to. Ie: having an awp, reloading and switching to a glock will only do the damage of a glock. However, weapon effects don't count - flaregun shots still flame, and rockets still explode people. Likewise, reloading a flaregun and switching to an awp will result in an awp, which still does 700 damage, plus the shots will now ignite their target (if they live). The flare shots from a minigun also do 60 damage + ignite the target. Each individual streak of yellow from a switched shotgun will do as much damage as the pistol/ secondary weapon you switch to.
And good work Alex - dropping the gun doesn't give you a super shotgun, you just drop it. Kinda like what happened to you at around birth - on your head.
I think units like the artillery should have a button which holds their gun into position, say - hold space. Then you can move to the location where you are firing at fire. Further movement of the mouse will move the aim a subsequent amount as if you were still focused on the artillery (hope you understand what I am saying). Otherwise it is just an expensive tanks.
It's a pretty good game (5/5), although level 17 is the only hard level and level 18 is a giant anti-climax, those two should definitely be swapped. I think if the Assassin had a glock or colt with half a dozen bullets in it, which could take out guards would make this a better game. Of course, more guards would have to be added - and the glock would instantly trigger the alarm upon firing. With that addition, it could be possible to introduce a "shop" to purchase better weapons, ie: sniper with unlimitated range, more ammo and silencers. Just my opinion.
The description says: "Play the role of an omnipotent hand"
If the hand was omnipotent, then it makes no sense that the knights can cut it with their swords lol
The only thing funnier about this game other than the credit song is reading the comments that are like "This game is way too easy" "Wow... that sucked, they should have made it harder" "I finished that in 10 seconds lol, I am so awesome" "etc"... Some people actually seem to believe they are heros and missed the entire point of the game *sigh.
