It would be nice if there was some help to help optimize your worker levels. It could indicate with red/green highlights to help you easily see which workers you need more of so they all finish at the same time.
Alternatively, some of the work could be carried over for future projects? Or maybe if you have a lot of extra work available it would influence your cash/second when the work is completed. Your produced works could be evaluated by critics which influences the sales. And you could throw all that into a log that people could scroll through to see what games they've made.
I also have the problem where visitors never buy anything. They come by and stop at the booths, they leave happy, but no money appears to change hands. imgur.com/kbiGFfO
This launch game is just a bit confusing. I think they put some effort into making it exciting. But it's not really clear what the goal is, there's a lot of grinding to get the upgrades (unless you pay) and the extra things like the cannon, bombs, bees, etc., happen too infrequently to even be noticed.
You know... a FTL capable, artificially intelligent, self-healing interstellar mining robot probably isn't going to get much research mileage from a bicycle or light bulb.
On the serious side, I did really enjoy this game. As others have pointed out, it would be nice if there was a streamlined way to build up the more complicated things required for upgrades.
I liked this idle game. It always felt like there was a goal ahead of you. As others have mentioned, it would have been nice to have a "Max buy" button for the ships and upgrades. Ascending got more painful towards the end of the game as I had to rebuy everything. At least the scouts became dominant so you only have to buy one kind of ship.
Ironically, the volcanic plug created intense pressure to build up instead of letting it slowly release over time. As a result, the eruption 400 years later was much more catastrophic than it should have been.
Those fish are pretty tough! They survive being frozen solid, spikes, acid, lasers and nukes! They shrug off weaponry that tears through a submarines titanium hull! Good thing that octopus is there to stop them from taking over the world.
"Alright everyone! Our enemy has no cover and limited field of view... High command says the best strategy is to line up single file and advance!"
"Single file! GO GO GO!"
Get all the civs/vps
Annihilate everything with tank
Use Heli-T to collect last floating star and carpet bomb last baddie
Baddie flies into the air, collides with second falling bomb, explosion kills Heli
No gold medal and lose 60k.
Rage.
Cool game and nicely put together. Although honestly the idea of beating down parents trying to reclaim their stolen kids doesn't sit too well with me.
The storyline seems to be straight-up human trafficking. "Hey, you just won a trip out of your sleepy small town to come to the big city! Hey, you just won a second great prize, you can't go home but you get to work for me for the rest of your life!"
Papa... for shame.
Damn that's what I should have called the ascension achievement!!!
