I can put up with my idiot teammates in the last level of the Alien campaign. I can put up with the vastly superior human team. I can even put up with the super-human Raze soldier who runs faster, hits better, and takes minimal damage from everything. I don't even mind him playing hide-and-seek. It's the stupid time limit on that level that kills it. Get rid of the time limit, and that level is actually a fun challenge. Right now it simply proves the developer doesn't know how to design a level.

I carefully preserved my companion all the way to the end of uptown. Then in a confined room we were ambushed by a zombie hoard, who dropped from the ceiling right on top of our heads. They blocked the escape route so I can't get past them to leave the area. My companion and I died at the same time. Since the save companion key is broken, I tried closing the browser and reload. Guess what? My companion is gone, I am hit with an obscene xp penalty for dying which knocked me from almost leveling to zilch. So much for trying to see the ending with the partner. What's the point of the "save" function if this game constantly overwrites my save file with the latest fiasco? This is just utterly frustrating.

I did not enjoy this game at all. It is bad enough I have to do timed precision platform jumps. The random screen shaking to disrupt my timing and rhythm makes the whole experience frustrating and not fun.

Things I learned playing this game: (1) birds are safe from hitting objects until they join a flock. (2) A slow moving blimp in clear sky is deadly to birds because they will kamikaze into it. (3) Hurricanes are the size of a commercial airliner. (4) F-117 stealth fighter works by being invisible to naked eye, not by radar. (5) Multiple aircraft can occupy the same space without crashing into each other, because they are on different altitudes. A flock of bird on the other hand, exists on ALL altitudes so they can cause bird strikes no matter where you fly. (6) Aliens fly to Earth in their saucers so they can run over birds.

This is how flawed Challenge 4 is: The Dragon has a minimum range, under which it cannot fire. Your Sword also has this minimum range. So for the Sword to engage the Dragon, it is also vulnerable to the Dragon's attacks. When you use the Shield to distract the Dragon, it often wanders into the Dragon's minimum range, at which point the Dragon switches to the next target it can engage within its range, which happens to be the Sword. In other words, the very act of using Shield to distract the Dragon often leads to the Dragon deciding to concentrate on Sword instead. Did the game designer actually tested the maps before releasing it?

The career mode is fun because you can just build up super robots and overpower the enemies. The challenge mode is incredibly frustrating because you are hampered by poor robot AI. It became a battle of fighting the game design at this point.

I really wish one of the following will be implemented in subsequent chapters: - The dungeon description will tell me what kind of quest reward I'll get at the end - The quest chest (silver/platinum colored chest) will tell me what kind of quest reward I'm getting. - If my barracks is full, I have the option of releasing someone from the roster whenever I receive a quest/plot reward that grants me a summon. I have already lost 2 summon chances from the dungeon. I don't even know they grant summon attempts when I enter it. This is most annoying. (4/5 stars because of this).

Hmmm... all you need to win as US (or German if you play on ArmorGames) is infantry rush. Put an assault team on each wing and dump the rest of your resource points in rifle teams in the middle. Charge. Win. Repeat. If there are tanks on the map, buy 1 tank initially (if you have it) then team up with anti-tank team plus a rifle team (to kill enemy infantry) to defeat it. Then just bum rush with more rifle squads. All your xp should be used to improve the performance of your rifle and assault squad. After that, get faster and cheaper reinforcements. Ignore all other improvements. Even grenades. Seeing how you can win this game on hardened without using officers, mortars, snipers, or MG teams... I have to agree with others that this is a step backward from 1917.

You can let your workers fall off the ledge, so long as: 1. All cargoes have been moved from their original position. 2. At least one guy makes it back to base AFTER the last worker falls off. The game will still record you as having completed the level. Just an example of how broken this game is.

The physics in this game is so unpredictable, that the same set up can have dramatically different results, based on completely unrelated changes elsewhere. A bridge may fail suddenly, when I adjust some elements unconnected to it.

The last game I have, first wave was a SS, mortar appeared on the 5th wave. Bazooker wave appeared in the 30s, I got one soldier out of the crate and he was killed before the "you got a free soldier" finish scrolling to the top. With such wonderful adversaries, I didn't even get a chance to taunt. I could barely keep the enemy from CQB'ing my guys (which, thanks to the glitch, will neutralize them even if I win the fight). I know this game is supposed to be relentlessly brutal, but the latest upgrade is really pushing MnB2 to being abusive.

Gah, just had a string of bad games. 3 games in a row none of the starter soldiers had morale above 10. 2 games I had 2 starters with 0 morale. 1 game I had the first 4 soldiers I purchased had under 10 morale. WTF man, these guy just lay prone until they are shot to death. I barely made 50 waves...
