It would be nice if different levels encouraged different strategies, but the same exact style works on every level with no difficulty. Gathering coins is one of the few things the player "gets" to do during the slow grind to the finish.
When people said it was short, they meant it. I definitely would have liked more time to mess with character stats. That said, it was fun. I felt like a badass trolling the dungeons to hunt everyone down. I won with the mage and the archer, leveled up attack and range, double shots, never even really got hit by anything.
Figured it out on Day 27; if you exit a level (on the edge?) in a direction that would start you heading off the side of the map with an entrance on the edge, you immediately hit the town. Lame bug.
I just hit some weird bug where my adventurers will refuse to go from floor 14 to 15, despite being high enough level and having gold on the floor. I was all prepped to take out the dragon at Day 21, and then nothing.
