Wow... this is terrible. Even if I didn't think Lady Gaga was joke of a performer and musician, and even if I didn't find the game music unbearable, I'd still be disappointed with this "game". The various options to dress up do so little. This is barely an interactive experience.
Really stellar platformer. Elements of speed, fluidity and freedom that make for a great experience. Same sensations I got when playing Sonic the Hedgehog on my Genesis. I only wish my old computer could handle this game, as it crawls at a snail's pace. If I had a better rig, I'd play this all the time. It still gets high marks though. Keep up the good work.
Love the tower defense mixed with action shooter. Very fast paced and fun.
I agree with other posters that upgrades for towers would be nice, but of course you'd have to rescale the difficulty and you don't want to spend your time action packed time going through menus to choose upgrades. Upgraded weapon pickups for the chopper is top notch. I'd also like to see more notifications that beacon on the mini map. Keeping track of where to maneuver my chopper is the most frustrating aspect.
A novel concept, but the execution is extremely weak. Pace is slow, strategy is minimal. I think others' comments have highlighted on those details, so I'll just add that I'm playing on a very low end machine. I have to assume the coding is terrible, since my rig can't keep up with even this simplistic game. On the up side, the atmospheric music might not reach out and grab you, but it works well for the setting. Commenting simply to help UW's computer science team. You guys can do better than this.
I feel this game suffers from major balance issues. In the beginning it's all about moving quickly to find survivors to help you out. After that, the early game is a cake-walk. Frankly, early game is dull, as you let your deck out survivors mow down enemies while you do nothing to conserve your ammo. Mid game to late game is all about building traps and using them in a timely manner, but even that isn't terrible necessary given the abundance of ammo by then. This has the makings for a great game, but the balance issues leave a lot to be desired.
Nicely balanced, but so short and simple. Short and simple works great for some games, but this one just begs for more. I really wish this game delivered a greater amount.
Lots of fun. A nice twist on tower defense. At first, raising a cops levels doesn't seem worth it next to hiring more cops, but the difference shows in later levels. I do wish there were more upgrade options though, or maybe make points more scarce so the player is forced to specialize a bit more. At any rate, I maxed out my upgrades halfway through the game by only replaying a few later levels once or twice.
Wow, this is arcade gold. One of the few games I've rated 5/5.
Some of the gripes against this game are just plain misunderstanding. None of the levels are blind luck, though often your next iZZi color is more beneficial (or not) than another. You just have to know how to handle your next shot. The randomness is what helps keeps this game fresh. That, and the spot on basic concept. Nicely done.
I really liked this game, but it I have some issues...
The game is too easy. I rarely ever lose one section of wall. Even in the beginning when I had no achievements, losses were few. In the middle to end game, I can't even find enough to spend my cash on.
Upgraded cannons seem like a waste. They all insta-kill and they all have the same range. I'd prefer later cannons to be a greater improvement and cost more, or just have less money to spend overall. Perhaps both.
Puckle gun seems overpowered. I'd rate it as good as a grand cannon. I'd much prefer a puckle gun (or a pair) than bothering to spend the cost of upgrading the cannon tree skills and then placing the more expensive grand cannon.
Each of the three sides doesn't play very differently.
I got all the French cannon achievements while playing as the Prussians against the French. I should only be able to get them while playing as the French.
Still enjoyed the game. Hope it gets some upgrades.
