I find again and again that the necromancer is the best character. His super fast shock attack, (easily one of the best in the game) due to TBtabby's comment on spamming moves with low cooldowns, his heal which allows you to recharge health while wondering and after battles, and the summon creature ability which allows you to sick the enemies on something other than you. Beat the game with him I did.
