Yes, yes they are. When I was developing it I had a lot of troubles with them (playing the game, not making it) so I initially considered removing them, but I thought NO, these people are up to the challenge!
If you play this game regularly then most players don't even need more than 2 or 3 months of deluxe for your tank to reach level 50 sooner with the double exp, and thats only 60 tank coins at most which can easily be earned by just playing the game and collecting boxes when you have the chance.
I love the turn-based battles and the customization i can have in my army, the graphics are amazing and creating basic units is fast and cheap. My dislikes are the Storage boxes, i was given a "Starter Tutorial Box" for what i thought was free but it actually costs 2 gems to open (very confusing) and also the Double-Window that is Required to play the battles. Overall, a great Strategy Game and worthy of a 5/5.
Thanks!
The boxes you get are a kind of booster packs filled with units and resources. Usually it's worth the gems to open them :P A little trick it to wait for a level up. What's in the boxes depend on your level, so if you close to a level up, wait and get better units!
Also, some of the Advent Boxes we now hand out can be opened with gold or iron.

These Pre-Christmas events always make me so anticipating for the real deal, i just wish that obtaining all the new Titles did not require so many Present Boxes.
Shield needs to have a Cooldown period of atleast 1-3 turns, too many battles have i seen a team win from the last player using shield 3 or 5 times in a row.
I know this is a Multiplayer game, but the in-game chat is extremely small and almost unnoticeable to the point of this being a Single-player game. I would like to see an Option to change the Chatbox\Font sizes, and also a Guild system to establish better communication with players. I believe these would be great additions to make this game feel like a top-notch Multiplayer.
A great new Multiplayer game from Kongregate that doesn't require a heavy wallet to play, and the ability to obtain In-game cash from the supply boxes is just another great touch. Thanks Kchamp! 5/5
I was really expecting the Ammy Curse to be more than a 5% death rate (50% perhaps?), I mean at a 95% success rate this is hardly a punishment to dupers who still have hundreds of ammies.
