Hmmm... I don't think the game is loading for me properly. I get through the A10 screen, and then just a field of tiny dark grey squares. No titles, no graphics, nothing.
Have loaded (&reloaded) in Chrome and IE. Flash up-to-date.
Any suggestions?
I usually love the Sushi Cat games, but not so fond of this one. It was really short in comparison to the others. I also feel it was fairly unbalanced. In terms of gameplay, it was far easier to beat the 'eat number of sushi' levels than 'travel the distance' levels.
As others have mentioned above, the bounce boost seems really inconsistent. Rolling forwards, or very low powered bounces. As AgentKeen mentioned, hazards are very unforgiving.
As far as upgrades, I'm not convinced the armour did anything to protect. For the sushi friend boost, I was assuming on upgrade that I would have more friends each level - eg 1st upgrade, only 1 sushi cat friend. 2nd upgrade - sushi friends twice in that level and so on.
The re-playability on this game is going to be low.
I've played this game a few times now and I'm wondering... are the locations of the darklings randomly generated? Because there are some that I am sure I wouldn't get to in time. Especially those that are two astride from a rune stone.
Full screen doesn't work, but music is nice and relaxing, and gameplay is enjoyable. Short, wish there were more levels available on Kong. Assuming this is only a demo?
It's really unforgiving. If you're on a good multiplier (says x4) and you make a mistake you lose one straightaway, another mistake and you lose one more. You can go from a good multiplier down to weak in the space of 3 seconds, but takes 90 seconds to build it back up :(
IT to me until Level14 to realise that the eyes of your shapes followed the mouse and you have a colourblind mode - in the way of a different striped patten for each shape. Well done! :)
I had no problems playing the game!! I found it both challenging and enjoyable.
My only criticism is being unable to drop the shape after you pick it up, without having to place it and then restart the whole level if it's not what you want.
Yay! :D
