Wow. The game is _amazing_ but... a bit too complex. I get lost in the fleet management which seems like a critical part of the game. There could be a whole tutorial once you get 4 planets colonized about "fleet management" I can't seem to get auto-routes and/or cargo transfers optimized. I see fighters and other ships and I fear it will only get much worse shortly.
The game has tons of potential, but is crippled by earning gold about 1/2 to 1/4 as much as you need to progress. westy224 said it best in his 2 parter.
Great game, but creating seems to be waay too slow. Maybe my Hard working God just doesn't deserve a Mighty Statue anytime soon :-( (but seriously, can the speed %age scale a bit more quickly?)
Sorry. This was a fun little game with a UI that didn't get in the way and require endless context switching and obscuring information switching across sub menus. appreciate the developer involvement and updates, but I'm out.
I really want to like this game, but it seems a confusing jumble of things mashed together. Two different (unrelated?) games on one map. I feel like I'm missing something fundamental in the UI at times, and if I play the 9x8 grid game, it draaaaggs at times. Tried crafting, have no clue what I'm doing. Sorry, really want to like it... some good elements nice style, etc.
Can't clear the "Miner Troubles" quest. Mine is clear... can't get credit? I may have cleared it before picking up the quest(?) Game complete otherwise. Fantastic game!
Fantastic game! Maybe allow re-arranging your defenses in between map locations? Shuffling units around on the boss levels makes starting each new location a pain to re-organize.
Really want to like this game, but just can't. Interesting balance of accuracy and timing, but AI seems to "follow" too much and you just "brute force" your way thru equip upgrades. Course layout makes me feel like I need to lose to get coins to get minor upgrades that don't help.
After completing the game... cute, but not well done in parts. Spikes don't seem to line up visually (kill you when you don't look close enough) Also, the final level was more annoying than clever. Decent puzzler, madhouse concept is cool. Could use additional depth.
Good game, but difficulty ramps poorly.. it seems quite possible to get into levels you just cant get past because you don't have enough consumables to boost you through. Also, do Endurance, Strength and Intellect actually modify anything other than their secondary elements?
Everything that is good about defense games! huge number of levels, nice transitions in levels, good upgrade tree (tho could be structured (allow for specialization) and more visible for planning) "a good 12 hour game" 5/5
A wonderful simulation with good game elements. Would love to see a next version with things like hotkeys for build/destroy room, plus an employee stats screen. Maybe also add some realism in terms of cost/time to close a room before destroying it. That plus employee bonuses would make a killer game!
+1 star for being able to show the path in a TD game. Nice balance/leveling of towers. Each board could be extended a bit more (2-3 more waves) Also maybe offer a survival mode with unlimited waves. Great TD game.
Game is really unbalanced at Harder and above. One your fort has been overrun more than once, you might as well quit and start over. There is no "lull" in the waves of zombies as time goes on, so you either keep adding land and soldiers, or you get crushed.
