There should really be something in between 'win' and 'draw' or at least 'draws' shouldnt feel like such a loss. Maybe get rid of the timers on base attacks. Seems like if you've got the enemy's defenses down and the only thing in between you and total destruction of their base is time, it should be more like a win than like a loss.
Thank you, alarson! You're talking about the egg spawns or the fact that the borders aren't solid? Regarding the borders, at first they were solid but my friends would always make the same layout which consisted of 1 large corridor using 1 border. Now that I think, when the borders were solid the barricades used to create tiles around them so you could expand your platforms by stacking walls on the edges, so first I removed the solid borders as a balance thing and then when I removed the barricades ability to create additional platforms I didn't think about bringing them back. I will give it a thought and test something. :o
As with others, i think this game slows down far too much as you get into tier 3\4. The growth rate of income is at a much lower rate than the growth rate of costs of upgrades, so things just kind of 'stop'. I'm curious if its because the growth of income is more additive while the growth of costs is more exponential.
Things need to grow more for each prestige point (after a certain point, that extra % added on has diminishing returns.. you need to be multiplying that percentage number, not adding), and maybe even have some sort of reward for each reset.
After a couple resets my multiplier is so high i dont even need workers to get to 1000 of games. Which is good because at this point right clicking on a worker to upgrade it freezes my browser.
Overall a game i really liked. One thing... Is there a point to having weapons activate\deactivate? It can be annoying to be docked at a station and when you undock by the time you target and activate all your weapons you've already lost most of your shields.
the colonists constantly wandering into battle is damn frustrating, especially when you cant seem to select them (or other buttons) when the game gets laggy (need low quality option maybe)
Its bad enough that you have to use a full week's salary on an energy drink just to do one or maybe 2 improvements in between games, but then the memory game not only is a memory game, it quickly mixes up all the tiles. Just make it a standard memory game, or give more than 2 tries.
I am going to kill the coach the next time i come off for 'not playing well' when every other player on the team can't hit the broadside of a freaking barn.
Its fun, but annoying as hell that you only have enough energy to do one thing ever, and to recharge it takes a full day's salary of energy drink. Also, let me use the drink whenever i want during matches, not just at halftime. And dear god teammates suck.
