Interesting... basically it just endlessly repeats what you did the first time before you died... odd commentary on the concept of free will or lack of it. I'd like to be able to actually restart without refreshing though.
Nice game! A little bugged though... like, sometimes when you pick up an item, but die before saving, if you go back to get the item it won't be there and you won't have it collected in your inventory.
Not bad, wasn't quite as fun as the other games in the series though. Also... even though I agree that most of the story and everything is great, the ending really sucked.
:SPOILERS:
I mean, come on. You fight the last boss and kill him and he does that whole disintegrating-death thing... and then the last cutscene instead shows him magically NOT being dead, and he beats the shit out of you and your friend and you run away and mope about how weak you are. What the hell, man. I KILLED that guy, he didn't beat me.
I know that would have messed up the storyline of the series if I killed him, and this is hardly worth getting bothered over, but it still just sort of pissed me off that the game basically said, "Congrats, you win! Oh, wait, never mind, we're changing history so instead you totally sucked and you lost, lolololol"
:END OF SPOILERS:
So yeah. Kinda decent game, but lame ending.
Lz_erk! You have that problem too? And here I thought I was the only one who seemed to have game ideas get magically stolen from his head by other people, who then improve the idea and make it a game before I'm able to. :( We should start a club.
"Keep your weapon powerups" meaning, "let the player keep them, don't make them go away over time", NOT "keep the weapon powerups the way they are" - because the way they are kinda sucks.
Just wanted to make sure you got my meaning since I realized I worded it kinda odd.
You should definitely keep your weapon powerups, maybe just lose a couple levels if you die... it's really annoying to have good weapons, then get a long dry spell of no weapon powerups, so you fall back to a really pathetic weapon as the enemies keep getting stronger and stronger.
Pretty fun... one thing that's bugging me though, how the heck do you get the "Alphabetical Avatars" achievement? I've clicked each avatar in alphabetical order, done all the Kong+(avatar) combos in alphabetical order AND reverse alphabetical order... what the heck am I supposed to do? >:O
