When i have speed into something 120(usual when using ram jets with over-levels), i have absolutely no degree of avoidance of objects. I would propose a new item - upgradable object radar or something, which indicates danger(and it's position) coming from above.
Tips for players - The game gets grindy when doing runs incorrectly. 1. I stayed with the second drill until the red planet cause of increased material collection. 2. You don't have to buy and use every 'better' hull, drill, battery etc right away. Actually, without some investments, those things can be worse than your previous upgraded hull, drill, battery etc. 3. You may skip 1-2 drills and 1 hull altogether. 4. When you are more powerful, intentionally run into nests, guns and mines the half max depth you currently can get. You get technology.
1. The jump to the red planet should be 70-80 plasma.
2. The upgrade costs of plasma is a little bit too much, should be reduced by 15-20%(every upgrade).
3. Candy drill upgrades are heavy in costs down the line. Again, the increase per upgrade should be 4 instead of 5.
4. Cold fire should get 1-2 more upgrades >.>
5. There should be at least one more way to increase thermo defense. I don't know, give one achievement or something.
I have 1mil durability, but still 621 meters in red planet. Is it normal?

Got about 7400 distance in last flight on 17th day. Its becoming really easy after few upgrades such as controlling your position, engine and windmill power. Just those three can get you started with really awesome distances. After those three, upgrade your model, hence giving more extension to your position control.
The key is flying low and hitting windmills, thats all. Oh and don't use engine unless its an emergency.

Manual timeout helps alot. Smash with a hammer, wait 10 seconds, press manual timeout. Buy upgrades and repeat. Im still doing a combo which is 1.8 million hits and going up.
Ok, this game is awesome. Real-time planning indeed. It would be better of course with some upgrades or if some new elements would be added like more pixel production while movement is decreased etc.
The bowl is quite simple, if you do following - As the level starts, move your city near the upgrade and start building collectors to left and right side as lines till the end. After they are built, build two mortars, to left and right(so they bombard the deep creeps). Then build another line of collectors elevation below(kinda optional, but helps to build faster your sams) and after that build five sams, covering the northern side.
After that nothing can touch you and you can go for offensive.
I don't know how, but whenever I switch the tab and do some stuff which doesn't need any download(news article, for example), the battle goes like with 5x speed.
