Ohh, I understand now, you meant class tiers. The other options are Fey (requires Nature Lore level 19; only available if you took Witch or Elementalist at Tier 2), Earthshaker (requires Geomancy 20), Necromancer (requires Shadowlore 17; you also need to be Vile, but if you've unlocked Warlock, then you already are), Sorceror (requires Geomancy 15, Pyromancy 15, OR Water Lore 15; only available if you took Elementalist at Tier 2), and Thaumaturge (requires Spirit Lore 15 and Divination 15).
Depends on the dungeon; I usually memorize several buff spells and use attack spells that deal damage both immediately and over time. Summon spells are very useful, even if the summon doesn't do much damage, because they sometimes work as decoys/meatshields. As for whether there is anything else in Warlock, what do you already have?
Also, question about the wiki; several monsters are listed as dropping items such as "feather" and "whiskey", but I haven't found any such items despite killing dozens of those monsters. Is this just an error in the wiki, perhaps stuff that was removed from the game but hasn't been deleted from the wiki yet?
DarkLordArceus, you can get livingsnow from some of the event locales: Winter Village, Thandhrune Cavern, and Chilled Forge. The dungeons give them as monster drops, the village gives 1-3 from the encounter "Playing in the Snow" and 10 upon completion. If you can beat the monsters in under 10 seconds and survive indefinitely without retreating, the Cavern is the fastest way to get livingsnow and Essence of Winter. Fazbit's Workshop? gives halfway decent Essence but no livingsnow, so once you're topped off on the snow you'll want to go through there until you get all the Fazbit's upgrades you want. The "/s" in the livingsnow is a small typo that reflects the fact that the snow melts (i.e. you lose livingsnow slowly) if you don't have a Freezer (furniture item, takes no space, costs 1 water gem and 5 ice mana - not max, just depletes mana like casting a spell) to keep it in.
Ryanryanx, I have all of those except the extra slot from the Winter event and I am three mana bars over the number that can be displayed on the screen when I have three action slots running, four over the limit when I have all four active. Compact Mode is almost what I need, except that the numbers in the mana bars shrink so much they are unreadable for me (I have bad eyes even *with* correctional lenses). Gage, if you mean that you only have two max, maybe you got rid of everything that gave you a bonus to the number you can hold? If you mean that you gained two, you probably bought a gem box. Andaltmorf, same answer, although it sounds like you are saying that you suddenly had a max of two when you logged in for no clear reason. Unfortunately, I have no idea what could cause that.
It would be nice if the mana bars had less space between them so you didn't have to scroll to see them all if you have all types unlocked. Rule of thumb: the less scrolling is necessary, the better.
The locale "Fazbit's Workshop?" (the question mark is part of the name, this is important or you'll end up in the normal workshop instead of the event version).
Based on the Halloween event, however, the Snow Double effects, furniture, and at least some of the resources will likely disappear, so you should rank Cryomancy now while you have the bonus max levels from the Snowmonculi, just in case. Unless you have over 100 max, in which case it probably doesn't matter. Also, get the upgrades now, because those will almost certainly be unavailable after the event ends, as will the locales. The Master of Winter title is mostly cosmetic as far as I can tell, but the highest-tier Fazbit's Knowledge upgrade is The Purpose, which is useful, and the Essence upgrades up to 5000 Essence are also beneficial in terms of stats. (Stupid character limits necessitating a double post.)
Does anyone else find it weird that the Orb of Winter does water damage instead of ice damage? And Stephen, yes, several of the upgrades from Essence of Winter and Fazbit's Knowledge improve non-event skills. The improvements to max skill levels from the exploration locales should carry over as well. It is also possible that Cryomancy, Winter Lore, and the ice spells will remain, although that is not guaranteed. Items you acquired, such as Coldsteel and Crimsonice weapons, might also be retained.
Oh, and TyrantGamin, I recommend just swapping out furniture and home choices so you can train up all the skills. 'Tis how I handle the "not enough space" issue. Also, do you have a werry? If not, getting one will help a bit.
Stephen, do you have the Orb of Winter equipped? That reduces your max fire by 80%. If that is the issue, simply change weapons and your fire mana will return.
Sorry for the double post, but is there any benefit to dual wielding other than if you want to stack up Spellcraft enchantments? The game always lists only one weapon on the player stats screen, which seems to suggest that I only get one weapon's damage/to-hit bonus even if I have two equipped...
To get Compile Tome, you need Lore 9 and Crafting 7. As for the Essence of Winter, I strongly suspect we're actually looting fractions of one rather than an entire Essence each time, but that is just a guess since Loot messages don't give quantities...
I wonder why some non-instanced (doesn't have an intermittent result such as with Craft [item] nor a cooldown such as with Geas) continuing actions (e.g. Chant) have completion percentages? I know that with Prestidigitation you unlock something after 'completing' it a certain number of times, but for others, the percentages don't seem to mean anything - they don't mark off improvements either, as far as I can tell.
