hello, i have a small problem. every time i want to play this game i have to start all over again. it never keeps my progress saved. what could be the problem?

Difficult to say without seeing it. But usually this problem occurs when it's restricted in flash player to save data on HDD. Check it: right click on the game, global settings, storage settings.
