the game is 100% based on chance and luck, then WHY the hell is hardcore here?? it becomes HARD even with casual mode on the 15th day, way ahead all possible upgrades and buffs!
why is it always 1 soul per enemy? higher levels should give more, otherwise it becomes boring just to kill some 50 low level (or even more waiting for animation than action)
as for trial 4, fully graded fortress+omega seal will perfectly hold it if using regen. As it was said, use no range units, its useless. I also used tiger, dragons & death. You may use shield, but not necessary
trial 5: iron fortress+omega seal, black dragon+turtle shield, vampires(for regen), succubus, witches, elf hunters all top graded with platinum swords for distant dmg. Wait for all units to spawn & mana to full, then move fortress & dragon towards the swordmaster, when they engage, move all the rest forward. Use regen constantly on dragon & fortress. All takes less than 5 minutes
