move mode seems to disable natural healing :( also I am unsure how to fire projectile weapons, open doors, etc manually. '?' should traditionally bring up a list of commands but no dice.
In addition to being an complete and utter failure of a game, this game violates US copyright law unless the creators furnish a license to use the Star Trek registered trademark.
Problems: 1) Redraw +gain best card type for 15 is too good. You can almost always gain either a muse or a curiosity from it, which soon lets your redraws pay for more cards themselves. Two Muses are enough to buy a third Muse and a fresh hand, with some healing as a passive bonus.
2) Wanderers are extremely good, but since attack cards in general tend to suck and clog up your hand (as well as reducing opponent hp and thus the time you have to buy cards) it's best to use the 'sketching' card to get them via 'ambition' chains when the sketch card is nice enough to show up. Once you have enough Muses you have what is effectively an infinite loop via the buy a card and redraw action.
You need to deal better with water. I left via the Port in Eureka, but it looks like I could have just walked off the map anywhere. And the limited travel distance is *really* annoying: generally when I start this I have an end destination in mind to get to ASAP, and finding out, for example, that Valley East, Arcata is out of range from 2nd street, Eureka, is frustrating.
Wood is ridiculously more valuable than every other resource. Only Trainers are even half as important as lumberjacks. Scientists, on the other hand, are nearly worthless.
If this *isn't* stolen, add Kong API so it can get badges. The game is definitely good enough and popular enough to get a 4.00+ rating. I think it rather likely this is stolen, though, so *flagged*.
Hello there! yea being a game for a GameJam, we didn't have that much time for different endings ): but I'm glad you liked it!
