Why is everyone who points out it's like Princess Maker getting downvoted, yet comments like "piece of crap" are mostly slipping through unhindered? If you've played PM enough, you can see it right away. undefined didn't even bother to modify the basic algorithms. All the stuff that made no sense in PM (like killing a demon is sin, character won't go towards a treasure chest if too stressed, etc) is still there, and they are all the things you guys are complaining about. Why is it like that? Simple answer: he copied a game and changed the graphics. The end.
Fun game but it feels more like a bunch of gimmick ipad games strung into a larger pack than anything else. It's a good expansion on the other Duck Lifes, but the fact you have to repeat the entire game every single time you want to add a duck is really annoying - especially when you get to the glacier, and it turns out you need a duck who can do everything BUT fly, when there was no such requirement before. Suddenly, I have to replay the entire game just to pass one small challenge! This is a grinder and there's not much else to it, though it tries really hard. For those who love to grind and do repetitive tasks, it's great.
I'm super confused at those saying the mini games don't get harder or speed up the longer you stay alive in them, as... they do. So maybe the developer made a change in the code since those comments? IDK.
Drag with the mouse and click? Yeaaah, that does nothing whatsoever to affect trajectory, at least not starting out. My patience and love of DuckLife made me try to do this for five minutes, but after getting nowhere, I'm exiting out.
I love this game and have replayed it multiple times. The only problem I have is it's hard to tell when the health refills or why, there's really no rhyme or reason.
