This game is fun and addictive, but definitely could use some polish. For instance, during the economic crisis I went to -7,000 but was told "we didn't go bankrupt." So, then what is bankrupt? Can I ever really lose the game? Also, I have had instances where I'm told MyOS or Web was pushed out by competitors, but also told in the same message that polled users the dead company was "hot right now." The game is still fun, but little tweaks here and there could make it a must play.
The best way to tell that this game succeeds in it's story telling is that you can easily figure out what is coming, but it still has a strong impact. This game was good. I hope to see more like it, maybe slightly longer thought
One problem I run into that is annoying is when a bridge over one gap works fine but a bridge over a different gap breaks so I fix the bridge that broke, and then the bridge that worked fine before breaks when I did nothing to change it's structure. Can someone explain why that would happen?
I see a problem with the strength stat when I level up. It shows the number WITH the bonuses i have, instead of just the base number, whereas all of the other stats show the base number. For instance, it says that my strength is 18, stamina 20, etc; if I level those up to 20 and 22, when I open my inventory, is shows my strength as 17 + 3, but my stamina 22 + 6. Just something I noticed, didn't know if anyone else has the same problem
I agree with bleurgh. The game is great, but I think it would benefit from having some "tower defense-like" interaction, ESPECIALLY during the Horde waves. I have no problems with the fact that people can randomly die in events, but there needs to be a defense simulator when the wall is being attacked. Remember, even Oregon Trail had hunting ;-) Definitely still a 5/5.
