Love the final animation after the credits...it tipped the scale on my opinion of the game. I enjoyed the minimalist nature and felt you captured well the monotony that can be day-to-day existence. However, I also felt that the dark bleakness was too stereotypical and was a bit disappointed when presented with the original ending sequence which was nearly gratuitous in its despair with the human condition and the mundanity of existence. Juxtaposed with the visual reminder, so fresh for us, of the fleeting nature of a moment or opportunity....kinda too much. With the tongue-in-cheek 2nd chance curtain call you restore some humanity and fallibility to the characters and make the game much better. With that move it went from depression porn to a game that cleverly trigger philosophical thought.
Kudos to you. Thank you for the game.
Had a nice comment the other day, and love the game but YOU HAVE to fix the repeat winning of racers. I've got 9 racers I've earned and I've now 4x gotten a racer I've already won. After all that work to win the races and only getting 2 coins per race, it is demoralizing to have lost 400 coins to racers I've already got in my "garage." Shouldn't be hard to code it to eliminate previously won racers and despite my LOVE of the game, I'm ready to be done with it since it takes hours to improve your time and earn the coins.
Truly a great game. Found it a few nights ago and think it has a great balance of simplicity, depth and skill-to-mastery. Really impressive work with the physics and the daily tracks and I've lost some hours to this game with trying to string together a lap/time that I know should be possible. I agree with some of the more recent comments in that I've lost some spins to racers I've already won (and don't really use as they don't fit my driving style/skill set) it a missed opportunity to see what is behind the silhouettes , which makes me sad. The ability to earn coins plateaus quickly when you get to mastery level so it is hard to earn coins when you a eeking 10ths of second off your time (making the winning a racer you already have doubly unlucky).
Thanks for making it and kudos to you for the excellent work on the game.
