There should be a High Score list implemented to tell the most Platinum Scores achieved by players. I personally have achieved 3, and I would like to know how that rates amongst other players.
@ dollparts_ Closing the browser shouldn't erase progress. I wouldn't know for certain where the problem lies, but I would check and see that your flash settings (typically found by right-clicking the game screen, I believe) allows for the game to store more memory. Judging by the size of stored information this game, I'd guess your settings don't allow for any saving at the moment.
Final badge wasn't registering for me at first, though I ended up hitting a 27 zombie streak. I quit on Internet Explorer, opened it back up on Chrome, and after an 11 zombie streak received it finally. Yay fail browsers.
So... First 40 coins buy you upgrades. Something should be available after the last 20... Walk on lava or pick up a ladder... something pointless to mess with when the game's done. And then obviously you'd need access to levels you have done already.
@xGnomeslicex Not true. If friction were negligible, the ball would never stop. Some levels you must spread apart the speed boosts to ensure that you get the most out of the friction and not make the ball go too fast.
I see bugs running rampant on this game. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but once I level up and gain powers, trying to use them freezes the game. Also some actions don't register correctly, i.e. I once started a game as a stark one, and it brought me to the main menu instead of starting, but worked the second time. And on a final note, ability points are jacked fairly bad. If you are one of the main types of fighters, you will pay ability points equal to the level of the attribute, i.e. 14 points to raise from 14 to 15. However, if you make custom, you raise with only one point from lvls 1-5, raise with 2 pts. from lvls 6-10, and only 3 from above that.
That's right, you can pay for a skill that costs 14 points with only 3 points, or you can raise that lvl 3 skill with 1 point where it costs you only 3 on lvl up. In the long run, you'd be better off jacking select skills as high as you can before the game starts under custom, and paying peanuts to raise those other ones as you clear through the game.Plus, to add to the bugs list, Each time you raise intel under custom, your weapons abilities rise by 3 points. However, I got no bonus when raising the level afterwards by levelup. And these are the bugs I found before bugging up in the 4th fight. Meh.
Great game. Not much to complain about. I don't understand the "fire - 50%" reaction as opposed to the "Resist Water" passive found in one of the second chapter, but it's still quite amazing.
One suggestion I was thinking though... waiting is basically pointless in the game, as you can find something to gain AP on in most cases, or just spam a move to get thru the battle for passive AP. In order to introduce a boost to waiting, you could add abilities that gain AP by waiting, possibly patience oriented abilites, such as improvement in reaction time span or a boost in critical hit, by 'studying the enemy's weak spots while waiting.' Just a thought.
And Arxalix, the map is not bugged. there are 4 spots, all non-paved. click the spots to pave them, and you should still have 400 gold to spend on units, I do believe.
Blackscreen, when the item comes off the hero, it doesn't switch off immediately. Or so that was the case when I did it. However, by some point prior to playing a quest, the item effect will fall off.
