It is a good game, but the single player really has some issues, like a lack of a "restart battle" option, etc. It doesn't really matter if it is listed as multiplayer, the single player is still part of it, specially if it is like a training mode/tutorial for the multiplayer (what also may not interest as much some of the players), so it should be considered as well, even if with a smaller weight. It is probably the first impression for most of the players, so it needs to be good to convince as many as possible to play again and try out the rest of the game, including the multiplayer.
To improve your controls, you need to try to make the tank be always at the center of the screen, so no mater where you are you have the same visibility of the field. Of course you can play with the camera a bit on this to create different effects, but try to not stick too much out of it, just for a brief effect to give, lets say, a better filling that it is gaining speed/losing. Somene suggest about a break button, it could be interesting to remap the 1 and 2 to Z and X respectively and put it on space, since that combination of buttons is common.
