Great, now I'm facing a dilemma. I love the story, and want to start a new file and play back through the game, but I'm so powerful on my first file...
Some tips: If you want to go a long distance in runner mode, fully upgrade the spreader gun and your jump power. Get the moon boots while your at it. To go higher in escape mode, upgrade your jump and the rebound gun. For both modes, upgrade your defense[so that hitting enemies won't immediatly ruin your run/climb] and your attract [to collect the gems easier].
I invented the nail bat while level 8. I met a level 6 eye guy. He swooped at me. I swung, and knocked him across the screen. Thus, baseball was brought to the Isle of the Titans.
This game would be good if it wasn't for the fact that most of the difficulty comes from cheap enemy tactics, such as throwing grenades though areas that you can't shoot through, forcing you into a corner and attacking as a huge pack of enemies to the point you can't even stand up before they melee you, and attacking you from off screen. 2/5, because the cheap difficulty killed the entire experiance for me.
