The basic game could be interesting, it could do with a lot more content and the API for the Badges could use lots of bugtesting. Still it's better than some of the other stuff that comes here.
Hah, I found an unofficial feature (autofire). Hit A, keep it pressed, then tab out with Alt+Tab. Weapon keeps firing, even if you tab back into the game. You can even conveniently click all the Icons and send troops :)
No, the game doesn't put imba Tanks really soon. If you read the in game instructions, the further away you get from your starting point, the harder they get. That means that you can just go around in an outward spiral and level up nicely.
Difficulty is completely random. You survive 19 waves only to get completely crushed on the last wave despite having highly developed mages and warriors and are attacking their weaknesses.
:/
The second one has so much more options, still the first one is superior.
The second one is just too damn random.
It's just so annoying to have a full screen of running zombies clobbering down your barricade before you can even reload once because of tough luck and not finding decent weapons.
Oh dear. Its ironic isn't it? All those little brats that have to hate this game because it is a requirement for being cool as a child. Hate on everything that is popular.
So folks keep on downvoting this nice game just so they may tell themselves they're such grim rebels. Go rebels, go. Woohoo. Live the adventure of growing up.
Too many crashes. And don't blurt "shitty pc" or "old flashplayer" cause neither of which is true.
Currently: 1/5 Stars
Will raise to 4/5 once the annoying crashbugs are fixed. Funny: It never crashed when it was hosted on all the other websites.
Works perfect in Firefox. This game is pure genius. It reminds us of what games are really supposed to do: Entertain.
And ironically, it had much longer credits than most of the commercial games that just tell you to have some more fun with the main menu after beating them.
After reading johngrimmers comment I decided to decrease the rank from 2/5 to 1/5 if only to outweight fanbois like him.
But to be fair to the developers, here is a list of things where he lost points for:
-1 Point. It is the same as every Thing Thing. Everything gets recycled. It was very nice the first time but by now it is just... recycling.
-1 Point. Endless Spawns + Fixed Spawnpoints = Boring Melee Spam. There is no point to pick any weapon except for the leadpipe.
-1 Point. Lag. I have a brand new computer that laughs about Crysis but stutters in this Flashgame. From reading other comments it seems to be a bug. Get it fixed. Amongst all the other bugs as well.
-1 Point. The loading bug. Sometimes it loads, most of the times it doesn't.
-1 Point. Boring grind. The concept is enjoyable until you've seen almost all. Which is about 30 seconds into the game.
Not impressed. I'm not really a friend of endless spawns but in this case the neverending horde atleast makes getting the badges easier and less time consuming. Just stand near one of those portals, switch to the pipe and start clobbering.
Boring all around this game though.
I can't really understand why so many people are having trouble with the Devil Badge.
All you have to do is spam Turrets whenever you get them and stay constantly in motion. The Badge is mostly time consuming as it will take you a while but the good news is, your score will skyrocket as your multiplier is constantly at 999x
The Assassin thing seemingly was fixed allready but yes, you were able of using it over and over again with just a+e. And I bet that is how some got their "400+" Levels.
Eitherway, I gave this TD Game a downright 1/5.
- Not original at all, just like a thousand other TD Games
- Waves coming far too fast, having to fight 6 or 7 of them at the same time -> UGH!
- Flying Units get the Award for being annoying and forcing you to build your turrets in a very specific way
- Graphics are not even mediocre
- Sound is VERY annoying (good thing you can deactivate it).
@Crystalis:
Well maybe Elite and Easy difficulty are switched then. Because quite frankly, the hardest achievement in this game is not to fall asleep while you your finger is taped to the mousebutton.
Look, you don't even have to aim at all, just keep on roughly pointing in the direction of the enemy horde - you WILL hit.
