Excellent concept, well executed. Needs a sequel or more levels. It was challenging enough to be fun, but not so challenging as to be maddening. Thanks for the fun 10 minutes!
Loved it! Relaxing, no pressure, no frustrating traps or "oh crap, I died again". I agree with previous comments -- an end game screen would be nice -- OR starting over with some new twist. I liked the lack of tutorial -- it makes it seem that you trust the player's intelligence enough to figure out how the game works. Well done! Please make more!
I don't like these types of games. They typically drive me nuts. This one, though, held my interest and kept me playing to the end. The humor is quirky and anti-trope, and the gameplay was challenging enough to be interesting, without being frustrating. I was disappointed when it ended, and would like to continue playing. I'm giving it five stars and hoping to return.
Suggestions:
Don't mix mouse/arrow minigames. Switching from one to the other throws off my groove.
A bunch of unnecessary clicks are needed to do anything (select category / select action / select character). If you could have the actions better organized so we could go through them faster, that would be great.
Also, if there's only one character remaining, there's no need to have to select that character to apply the action. (There's only one enemy left -- who do you think I want to attack?!)
Need to have the option to skip cut-scenes, especially once you're making multiple attempts at a level.
AviatorCreator, could you please streamline the number of clicks needed to do things? There is a LOT of needless clicking through confirmation boxes. It slows down gameplay and irritates. For me, this is 4/5 Star game, but fixing these quirks makes it an easy 5 Star favorite. For example:
(1) Traveling: The "Ready to Fly" and "Welcome" screens are annoying and unnecessary. It would be nice to have that information in an unobtrusive HUD, but not on a screen requiring a click.
(2) Buying/Selling: To fill up (or empty) the plane at the market, you have to click BUY (or SELL) three times before the MAX button appears. Since MAX is the option I need most often, why couldn't it already there?
(3) Depot: Retrieving the mystery package requires three distinct, unnecessary clicks when none would suffice.
Thanks for reading. Please + for visibility if you agree.
The amount of clicking required to do anything is exasperating! Do I really need to confirm EVERY time I want to buy fuel? And EVERY time I land? And to fill my plane with a product, I have to click three times on Buy, then once on Max. Please add options to increase efficiency!
Simple and simply exquisite. The ending gave me the goosebumps. This was more than a game... it was an experience and a touching insight on loss. Thank you.
Why am I falling asleep at work? Because I stayed up until the small hours of the morning. But you should see all that I accomplished! I hit an ice wall with a nuclear penguin!
Very frustrating. Spent half hour on first two levels, getting killed and starting over. No lasting upgrades, no progress save, you can't keep double jumps or daggers or parachutes... plus the forced scrolling is annoying. Moving on...
