At first I was amazed by the selfrefilling sauce and thought you could stop worldhunger with it. Then I realised that you refill it with money, so it is no use, expecialy in a world where some purple onion costs 3000 $.
Maybe a bit of a backstory would be great. If it would be possible to find some pages, pictures etc. to figure out why the ghost is there could be great. But it needs to be sublte, maybe leaving more than one possible explanation of what happend.
Nice game, the autobuild/autoreseach is great and needed, but why arent researches global? Maybe it should give you a bonus if a planet already researched a lot but having to start from zero an another planet is not logical. Maybe an researchubgrade "share technology? with and increasing range like the engine one and the researches of all planets in range are added up. This woult even make it stategicly important to strike to the harth of other empires cutting off their technology havy planets and paralizing the weaker planets.
This game could have been fun if it had any stratagy involved, like different types of units who are superior to one other type and loose to another. And the units should have special abilitys like armorpenetration, eyplosions, damaging more than one card etc. If this was the first game of someone i would rate it quite well, because its a nice try, but his is from a established developer so its a shame.
I liked the first game better for some reasons: first: it had more story, in this game you only have the levels without the sunking thretening the catgod. second: the combatmusic is not very fitting. Third: scarab powers being activated radomly instead of coosing it takes away a lot of the tactics. This is one of the few nerdock games I only find okay instaed of realy great.
Damn ... my oil paints are on the other side of the room and i'm sitting here playing this great game instead of increasing my real painting skill. Now I need an Absinthe.
I won in the 3. Try. Get Bodkin asap. Use maed against riders and take out carts and ramms with the catapults. I liked the small crossbow because its easy to reload and has a good acuracy so its perferct in combination with the mead.
Yeah, probably so. I may or may not do that, though there are some definite interface annoyances. It'll happen only if it gains any traction.
