area 4 is very SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! there is only a single tier 1 wood producer, and after spending 20 gems to upgrade stuff I have a grand total of --- TA DA!!! 33 wood per second, at that rate it will take a year just to get the first tier 2 card. The production vs prices is very unrealistic.
Bugs Bugs Bugs Galor - first of all it is an interesting new mechanic on the 4th area, not sure I like it yet, but will have to see what happens with more cards. now the bugs, first the framerate has slowed to a crawl when purchasing cards, 2nd the achievments for woods and underworld expansions never light up, 3rd ascension in underworld screen is messed up impossible to read, 4th store in new area has very small text and the text blends with the background making it very difficult to see what things cost
its time for something else to spend gems on. Perhaps something like each gem spent increases production for all cards by 10% across all realms. Or something like that. Would also like to see what is unlocked after underworld
i like other peoples suggestions of multiplictivity instead of additive, for example if you have a bonus of + 200% for row + 300% for column + 200% for ajacent, and + 500% for the card above. That adds up to + 1200% or 12x production for the affected card. But if this was multiplicative, 200% x 200% x 300% x 500%, it would actually add up to 60x production on the affected card instead, which would go a long way towards production, this would also make it much more strategic where you place cards. And would make useless cards useful again as it is now. I get a better bonus by placing 3 ajacent boost cards then I do for next to or column/row cards, making next to and column/row cards basically useless
production way too low on 3rd area. Unless tier 3 gives a major boost but at this rate will take like 30 years to get to tier 3 and a few millenium to get 10b of each resource to unlock next area
auto scratch check box is a bit buggy, sometimes it remembers your setting between stores and companies, sometimes no matter how many times you click it is does not auto scratch
needs some serious balancing, too grindy. With the new global points system, either the purchase costs of the upgrades need to be reduced, or the requirement per point need to be reduced. IF you have it go 5, then 10, 15, 20 ect.. for the next point, the time it takes increases too much per point, making it pointless to go beyond 4 points. Remember that not only are you increaseing amount of companies by 5, but also each company requires 2 extra stores. so by the time you get to the 5th or 6th points you are already needing 100+ stores per company, multiply that by 5 extra d companies and it is a lot of grinding and time, if you want to have the 5 stores for a point, then make it 5 stores per point, not 5 then 10,15, 20, 25
so 30 stores would get you 6 points not 3
Just launched Empires yesterday so definitely need to balance them a bit, completely open to all suggestions and will test some options out locally over the next few days to balance that a bit better! Feel free to message me any suggestions for that in the meantime! :)
no no no no no and NO!! Whats with all the separate permanent doublers. It is way too much grinding, before it was 3 points to get all of them, now it is like 15 points. No and NOOOOOO! that is all I can say. Please fix this.
There are two wood producers in Tier 1. Things should go faster for you if you get that other one.
