See, folks, this is what people call an ad hominem attack, usually deployed by people who have no real argument to make as a last-ditch effort to undermine their opponent personally, instead of addressing the debate at hand. And although I don't like what he has to say, I'll defend his right to say it no matter what :D Again, free speech for the win.
It does by my definition, as it would've passed by now if it wasn't for the overwhelming protest and public outrage. But if it does come back in some form, It'll almost certainly not pass. Free speech for the win! :D
Because you are yet ANOTHER game dev trying to make a half assed statement about SOPA, despite it being a legitimate means of copyright owners protecting their intellectual property. Go and make a game instead. But I'm guessing you can't.
SOPA and PIPA would have severely limited the free speech and flow of information, and have little to no impact on piracy. Imagine trying to look up a movie or game review on youtube, only to see it was blocked by SOPA and PIPA. Although, it doesn't matter now, since SOPA has been defeated.
@btheking - I am aware of that. The game is just another pointless message, another game dev jumping on the bandwagon "because ludem dare told me to". What an utter waste of space you, and anyone thinking that shitty games like these will make a difference, are.
The hilarious thing is, anyone urging other people to actually read about SOPA rather than just regurgitating information from other people is being rated down. Essentially being censored by the people that claim to be against censorship. Go figure.
