saves should be working, you playing version 4.3? a good way to test before investing too much time, beat the first boss go to magic room save then reload.
Based on feed back I might change the saving system. the save system is really only so you can close your browser etc.

If you can make a buton to reset the dunegons to FARM for items and gold the game will be more intresting or to unlock higher dificult if complet the first one
