The control scheme is unique (at least to me), but it's actually kind of bad, I have to continuously circle around and around, it's counter-intuitive and neat, but ultimately annoying. Also very shallow. Stores, XP, Enemies, Upgrades, Auto-Fire...you need a lot more.
Way to make a game where collecting powerups is detrimental. There is a wire in some people's brains that makes them like this game. My wire is loose...
I agree about Rush 7. I've 3-star'd everything in the game but that. My best was 8/10. But I easily beat Rush 8 even on my first try... Then again, I had everything upgraded to max at that point, so *shrug*. Still a fun game.
I went ahead and 5/5 fav'd this game in hopes that you improve it, and to help bump it in the weekly standing. If it's untouched after a while, it'll go back down to my original 4/5, un-fav'd.
Also, the Hearts. Either they pop from pre-determined enemies or they are random. If pre-determined, then why make me memorize which enemy pops them and then have to mouse over them? Why not just give them to me? And if they're random, then isn't that a bit silly? I could reach level google-plex if every enemy dropped Hearts. Or to be more precise, I could reach level, say, 75 on one game, but get lucky with Hearts and reach level 85 in the next game with the exact same build.
75. That's by starting at the top with Archers and building down, upgrading when I can, building new Archers when I can't. Once I built all level 10 Archers (the 2 or 3 at the tippy top were still only like level 8), I erased the top 6 archers and replaced them with Necros, also upgrading them when possible. This crap about 'I beat it with all level 10 archers' is nonsense. I might have been able to squeeze out another level...maybe two... if I had left the Archers at top alone, but it's not like it was going to by me 15 extra levels or anything.
I feel like you're on the right track here. I want to love this game instead of just liking it, but it needs work. That said, 4/5. Oh, one last thing, you need a menu button or reset or something so I don;t have to refresh the page in order to start over if I make an early mistake.
I like it. Ok but this seems more like an alpha build of a game. It doesn't 'feel' balanced. I know that's a pretty vague term, but it's the best I can come up with. It is not apparent to me how to use Necromancers. If I lots, I don't have enough money to upgrade them and I die. If I build 1 or 2, they don't kill stuff which means I don't have enough money to upgrade them...and I die. It seems the 'Protector' method of building from the back to front is in order, but the back (top) has less 'surface area' to work with. Also, the way you send a wave of 1 mega dude followed by 10 fast-as-hell dudes is just making fun of me for not being able to prioritize targets. All my dudes will shoot at the one mega-dude who I have no chance of killing while 10-15 wimps fly past unharmed...taking my lives and not paying me.
Oh look how cute, it got its own site background. I'll bet ten trillion dollars this gets badges too. While games like Red Fluxion and Silver Maze sit and rot.
New Rule: Only one new 'Dream World' whore-like game per year, please.
