dkpure is right that the game is slow. However logging in twice a day, everyday, should be sufficient to get the badge. For some reason on various daily rewards, they give 1250 gold instead of a special unit. I think dkpure likes the more elite units given out every now and then, but upgrading(training) normal units is sufficient to use get the badge.
In addition to training troops at the barrack, it is possibly to equip them with gear. Also captain walker has gear that can be upgraded.
If you intend to idle the game, max out your resource buildings, log in daily (preferably twice daily) and train walker when you aren't logged in, and train your basic troops. Probably the best readily available f2p artillary are the landing, and launching those near where the turrets are captured at the start of a match can help decide a victory.
Biggest problem I see is that it is too difficult to get research points..This is pretty how how I spend my gold after the cpt walker upgrades.
one you reach lvl 50, sees the game is a dead end. seems they spent more time creating the 3d objects than they did in developing a game worth playing.
the game also should just do away with raid tokens; and let us raid without restrictions. The grinding in this game is unnecessary, especially since it is all watch and wait.
it would help if the game remembered if we were in auto play mode or not between playing sessions. every time I load the game, I am at risk of losing matches or stars...
the arena is very mismatched. sometimes 6+ battles against gold lvl tiers, before some player with only 30 hp comes along. not afraid to toss a game to help a new player, but after i dunno 15-20 minutes of just losses....you know, it feels more like a chore you have to get over with than a game at that point and you just eat the new player instead of being nice.
could really use an instant battle feature. The game is all about having the right deck, really makes no sense, except to fine tune future decks, to always keep us running through meaningless battles that we have no further control of.
