This game is way too easy to not die in. With about 10 of each bounciness, total objects, thrust, and fuel recharge, I can have a run that lasts over 22 minutes. It gets real boring.
I definitely agree that the upgrade menu is hard to navigate. Maybe add tabs for the different things to upgrade? Otherwise, solid game. Better than most game jam games I've played.
Thanks, I think that's a great compliment! I wish it was longer too, but unfortunately I left this until literally the last minute. This means it was very rushed, I wasn't able to add music or sound effects, and the gameplay is extremely lacking. And I didn't even implement the Kongregate API properly! I wanted a whole volcano with fireballs and spikes that you have to navigate your way through to get back to Zero, but I had to horribly rush the gameplay because I did all of the intro and voiceover stuff first. I hate to admit it because it proves how horrible my work ethic is, but I left this way too late and made it in about 5 hours total. Thanks for playing!
