After playing for more than an hour, completing 20 missions, buying lots and lots of upgrades and reaching a 14km height, I accidentally found out that I can use wasd to evade bombs. Facepalm.
Heh, that's my subtle way of telling players not to overthink this game. I was afraid that some people could see this as a complex commentary on woman's subservience to man, or how without progressing to the next stage of evolution humans are useless... no, screw that, this is just a game about finding love and eating pancakes :)
In 14-3, just before the No-Legs, below and to the left, there are three clouds. If you jump to the left from the middle cloud, you will land on an invisible platform. I don't know where it leads or is there more like it somwhere.
My child stuck in the bus wheel during the ride, but I reached the destination just fine, missing only arms and one leg. Every game that have moments like this deserves the best rating there is.
I played original Focus years ago, and enjoyed it greatly. However I feel that flash version is not as good as it could've been. Graphics can't compare to other Kong games, normal level pack is too short, and death messages are repetitive and don't fit the mood. Because of this, 4/5. Oh, and badges would be great.
OK. So we have total score, which is based on level score, remaining lives, and remaining funds. And we earn war-mart credits, based on total score. And we use them to increase starting funds. We now go and replay the level, using exact same tactic. We now have more starting funds, therefore we end level with more funds, therefore increasing total score, therefore getting more credits, which we can than use to buy more funds. I feel a great disturbance in the game balance.
