I really want to love this game but some of the core mechanics don't feel very well thought through. Eg - the Sudden Death levels are a great, fun idea. But not when the enemies are ranged and can hit you when they're almost off screen - then it's more about dumb luck than any kind of skill or even upgrade level. When one hit kills you, luck shouldn't be the deciding factor. That's just a frustrating experience.
When I logged back in for another round and tried to switch back to a weapon I had previously bought, I had to rebuy it. Is that meant to be like that? Because all the levels I unlocked were there, just not the weapons.
Really dig this game, it's a great sequel to the original. Only minor complaint - the badges are too easy! I've barely scratched the surface of the map options and already have the "Hard" badge. Just takes a bit of time. Maybe an Impossible badge for completing all of 'em?
Really fun game mate. It finds a great balance between it being a pure numbers game, and running itself without any input. You kind of STEER it along, which I love. Maybe a tad too quick to finish, but hey, it's a flash game.
Final boss - Keep going for defensive and counter. He attacks whenever he has the opportunity to do so. So if his attacks deal 10 damage to you but multiplied damage back to him, you'll win easily. Your attacks just don't deal enough damage, and when there are no attacks available he'll start healing.
I've played a hell of a lot of tower defense games, and this is one of the best. Some fantastic mechanics and different ways of approaching the genre. 5 stars.
Wonderful game, reminds me of crowding around my mate's computer when I was 10.
Probably the easiest series of badges I've come across though. Got the Hard badge within half an hour or so.
So I was doing amazingly, then the entire floor lifted up and I instantly died, and was met with a black screen with no menu. Glitch? Regardless, I'm giving up on the Hard badge.
