Getting the shiny panion this week is BS. It's either this crap game, the terrible music game with really bad music, or the broken game that won't even play. 1/5 Kongregate. You suck.
I love this game. It's a great platformer. The controls don't bother me, because I use a keyboard-to-joystick program, Xpadder. I used a PS2 controller and set X as jump, Square as shoot and Triangle as special.
Jesus Christ, the game screen is extremely large.. way too damn big. ALSO, you need buttons to mute the music and SFX individually. I'd comment on the actual game, but I can't see the entire screen at once and I can't stop that droning music.
Franc, the last boss is total BS and is the only reason that I'm rating this 1/5. If he hits you, you have a few turns to click the board and make a feather appear and then move your character to capture the feather. It's total BS, don't waste your time trying.
The lv9 and lv11 challenges are absofknlutely impossible.. mainly because the rangers stun mages which prevents you from casting ANY spells. You can still make landmines and beartraps magically appear on the level, but you can't cast an actual spell. You also can't kill the god damn rangers because they're instantly summoned back. You can't kill the god damned units that summon the rangers because they also instantly are summoned back. The difficulty ramp up is completely uncalled for. Were these levels every playtested at all? Maybe someone ran through it once and got lucky when the rangers magically decided to not shoot the mages and lock out all magic use.

I made this video walkthrough specially for you :) As you can see, I made lots of errors at lvl11, but still achieved victory.
The LV.9 Challenge is utter, complete and total BS. The ramp up in difficulty is like something you'd see in a rushed NES game. There's like 100 enemies on the screen, you can't use your spells because you can't use spells when your mage is stunned, you can't kill the rangers that are stunning your mages because they keep getting resummoned, you can't kill the summoners because they just respawn or are resummoned.
It's a challenge, you know :) By the way, right timing is essential at this level, as well as the right targets selection order. By the way, try to rearrange your skills, it may be helpful.
