I've been playing this game since the beginning, but it now has become completely unplayable for me.
I can't wait 20 days to raise a hobby from level 35 to 36, especially not when I need it to be level 40 (I can't even imagine how long that would take me).
While this is partly my fault for wasting diamonds on time slots, this is because I had no idea how many diamonds I would get, nor is there any option for a diamond reset.
The punishment is way too severe for such a mistake: I either quit the game, or wait many months for a single thing to happen. That is bad game design.
As such, I have revised my rating.
I may have found a bug:
After finishing the game (Beating the root of all evil-dungeon), I found another dungeon I didn't find before (random system ftw).
Upon entering, the main screen remained black, only the info bars (with rest, use potion, exit and the resources) are visible.
I would love to be able to fight further, I really wanted the full Forbidden set (only have 3 pieces right now). Maybe some real challenges, like (mini-)bosses.
In short: end-game should be redone to let the player continue fighting dungeons (maybe something to do with resources as well?).
What? Trouser Snakes are awesome! :D
If you just use up and right, you can easily get 400+ (482 here).
Just go right all the way until you're about to hit your tail, then hit UP-RIGHT as fast as possible. Keep doing this until you don't have any space anymore.
I... am pretty sure this is a bug, but when some penguin master told me to "Rise" (the medal I was hunting), my browser (no, not IE) froze for a moment. Then I flew (and am still flying) at max speed (can't even see my penguin), gaining all "Challenges". I used a omega slide and a brick, set the slope to almost the minimum and... you know, it's still going without reducing speed for 15 minutes or so (even though redzone is 400).
But the fact that I actually tried hunting all those medals says enough: amazing game, guaranteed to keep you busy for a while.
Improve the AI (I believe it's random?)
Loop through each square and check 4 things:
1) Can I win? --> +100 priority for that move.
2) Can the opponent win? --> +50 priority for that move.
3) Do I already have a piece in that row/collumn? --> +1 priority
4) Does the opponent have a piece in that row/collumn? --> + priority.
Simply add the priority for each square and place a piece on the square with the highest priority.
First of all: make the loading screen animated somehow, I wasn't sure whether the game froze or was actually still loading. The game itself looks great, but there's nearly nothing to do if you don't want to pay.
Hey, this could actually be useful! ^^
Works a lot like the Nintendo DS' pictochat (or something), aside from the fact that this is in a very early stage of course.
Perhaps a few other options as well: double bass or double bass pedals, faster reaction time, maybe a different set of keys so you can use 2 hands more easily. Pretty well-done though.
