Like any child, I was a fan of cartoons. At the time, there were many about giant robots and their near death battles towards saving the earth. I had some favorites but I was absolutely thrilled when a female robot arrived – AphrodaiA. Later when I grew up, I stumbled upon a re-run and found (to my disappointment) that she didn’t offer much help and actually made matters go from bad to worse for the protagonist (Mazinger Z/Tranzor Z). Still, I hold dearly what fond memories I had of her. She was, afterall, the first female mecha.

As an adult who enjoys computer games as if I were a child at play, I think my avatar is appropriate. Without a waver in conviction, I WILL stand by it… even if you make fun of her deadly oppai missile system!
