I killed more than 300 enemies in one round, but the badge counter says my best is 45. Other than that, this is a simple but fun game (with flying toasters! XD ), could use more story depth to keep it interesting instead of just grinding for the upgrades. 3/5
Dungeon crawl is cool, but super easy to beat--as long as there are enough enemies to gain the experience you need, you can walk back and forth on empty spaces whenever you need to regain health, and you can ignore the arrows on gold pouches too, so it's pretty much impossible to die.
Very buggy and clunky, but the art and story (as with all your games) is fantastic. I think with some tweaking you could make the gameplay smoother/less buggy, but I suspect you will probably just stick to your comfort zone of point-and-click games--which is fine, you make some of the best ones out there. :)
Yeah, it feels like a little too much work to try to code/write/paint every single thing. I'll be releasing some more simple games for a while, give myself some time to heal from this. Lol
That demon/ghost/whatever in the cave was cruel. I realize you didn't mean for it to be scary, but even knowing from people's comments where it was and expecting it it still damn near gave me a heart attack. Aside from that, what happened to the music? It stopped suddenly after I opened the tree and the only music after that was briefly in the cave right after that thing appeared. Having the music stop like that was pretty creepy in and of itself.
I happen to really like dress-up games! One recommendation (and this goes for any dress-up, not just this one) is to use an arrow menu instead of click-and-drag. It can be hard to line up pieces just right, but with an arrow menu their location is preset so it will always look clean. The art could be improved as well--some flash games are fine with very simple or "scribbly" art, but for dress-up games appearance is absolutely key. I do really like the concept of a sword-maker, although this is clearly in the early stages of development I think you should definitely persue it when you have more experience with flash.
I know it has already been said but I want to reiterate, recruiting from facebook in order to do quests is lame. It's a multiplayer game, why not let us recruit other players from in-game?
I really like this game, very simple but fun and well put-together. However, after about the third time I logged in to play, I have not been able to sell items. I am not playing in full screen as mentioned by some other players. I would really like to continue my game, but I don't want to have to throw out stuff to make bag space for quest items.
lol, I defeated myself on Multiplayer. That wasn't even very difficult, even though they should have been perfectly even and equally likely to win…what's up with that?
