This game needs some sort of system where symbols are added to different locations on the list (Fighting zone, woodcutting, mining, etc).
Most of my time is spent clicking through locations trying to find one obscure resource or person and it's getting to be exhausting.
Pros
I have to say, the late game is well done. Surprisingly so. I'm impressed you managed to introduce new games with entirely different resources related to them while still balancing it relatively well with the mid and early game mechanics, neither became obsolete.
Overall, the pacing is satisfying, and 'finishing' it will take a reasonably long amount of time.
Cons
There are consistently graphics glitches when I convert my deck, with shadows/copies of the starter dice showing off to the right.
I have both unlocked and turned on auto upgrade, and I see no evidence of it working.
Maybe a few QOL options like an 'ascend max' selection option that automatically ascends die as many times as you can afford as well as purchasing the upgrades in between.
8/10
Its fun, but the lack of correlation between number of times played and quality of characters/character equipment/drop chances etc makes the replay value, what you seem to be banking on, a bit dull.
Fun, but I feel like the cost of parts increasing as you buy more of them is a bit steep. I want to let my creativity flow a bit more freely, you know? Right now it just seems like you're supposed to find a good shape and grind to upgrade it.
I just want to build a tank.
http://freelanceflashgames.com/news/2009/02/17/how-to-make-a-quality-button/ Dear Dev, please take note of the instructions on this page. It would make this game playable.
I would love hotkeys for my ships. Selection is awkward at best, and it would be nice to be able to select them without scrolling across the battle field or entering scan mode, where they're ants.
To get the Thief Hero, you have to amass 100k gold, then while you have it, search the city. To get the Enchantress, you need to win X consecutive battles (not sure how many. Two leagues?) Anyone know what triggers the Cleric?
I had high hopes for this game when it came out. Surely positive changes were to follow in the sequels. However, I'm fairly disappointed with one thing-there's no strategy. At all. The player just presses the forward arrow. Maybe heal the hero every now and then. The upgrades are gradiated so that you have little option in what and when to upgrade, the experience earned is spread between all the units evenly, and what units you earn are pre-decided. There's almost no randomness, no skill, and no luck. Its just watching your tougher units slowly (slowly slowly) beat up their units. And I for one miss the arrow tower.
It loads to the main menu. Then when I press start the screen goes black and doesn't load. Could it be my flash player? I've played this game in the past... and don't thumb down this because I should post this somewhere else. I just want an answer...
Wow. This was a delightful surprise. Better than idle games. Because it's both an idle game AND jam-packed with riveting mini games for the whole family. And the copious funny stuff seriously helps. I think the BlobBB has rock-on hands...
