This game has certainly come a long way since I started playing a week or so ago, and while the sectors can get boring once the pirates are gone and it turns into a game of wait for the mining to get done, I find myself returning on a nearly daily basis to check out all the new features Momoguru is putting out constantly. I'm glad to see that this game is being maintained by a single person, because it means it can easily stay true to the developer's ideas without having to conform to what sells.
That said, if this game were to go paid, it would more or less instantly go onto my "buy when I have money again" list.
As someone who prefers to maintain a certain 'control scheme' (ex., 1/2 for mining modules, 3/4 for beams, etc.,) I would appreciate if the active modules would stop putting themselves in the same order whatever order you equipped them in. The first equipped module should go in slot 1, the second in slot 2, the third in slot 3, etc., rather than in the order they were acquired.
BUg I noticed: After zooming out to galaxy view, then back in to system view, systems with two kinds of asteroid will have the ore names swapped on the targeting reticle and the mass highlight (When "Show all asteroids" is clicked). The asteroids still give the proper ore, and entering then exiting a station will return the asteroids to the right names
Method I found to get a whole bunch of money quickly: 1, get buddy into a corner. 2, Make a small box, a little bit bigger than he is, around him. 3, place basketballs in all available places. 4, if you haven't started getting money, drag some of the basketballs towards him. I did this, and stepped away from the computer for barely 5 minutes and when I got back I had enough money to buy everything and still have $40,000 left over. ($42687.40, to be exact)
For the best weapon in the game, it seems a little underpowered. It said the horde would be no problem, but I still had troubles, even when aiming for the heads of the zombies. It only really shone when I got the speed upgrade (Which brought the weapon's speed up to where I initially expected it to be) or the weapon's power (Which again put it where I thought it would be.)
Yes, it's more damaging than the AK47, and pierces enemies, but for 3,000 stars? Something like that is worth 1000, and that's being generous.
For those looking to grind gifts late-game: Level 33 is great for it. Not only is it quite rare for it to finish on the first click, giving you plenty of time to collect the gifts, it has 200 max gifts to collect.
I hate how you NEED to win, or a unit is much less effective against the next round's stronger enemies due to not having levelled up, thus creating a cascade of always losing with a certain unit because they couldn't fend off the last 4 rounds of enemies.
For a more casual player like myself, this game has quite a steep difficulty curve. I often miss several days between each training because I can't click accurately 20 times in a second. A pause option, or at least a slower day, would be much appreciated.
The critics shouldn't ask for stuff you don't have the ability to make at the moment. I don't have the weapons factory yet but the critics are all asking for weapons.
Dow to 1% infected remaining in Greenland, rest of infected world dead. Still have yet to infect South Pacific. Greenland keeps sending their planes to Greenland, never to South Pacific.
this is on my list, you will be able to order your modules as you like :)
