You need to have completed at least the first objective, and then you will be able to access the event objectives when you're on the objective selection screen.
Good easy game, don't expect to 3 star everything on the 1st run through, don't speed all your coin on presents/slots as you'll need some coin to buy nukes for example to get at least 1 of the achievements
Nice enough game concept, unfortunately when enough items get going on the screen the LAG is horrendous and you just die because your character doesn't move no matter how hard you mashed the keys
All badges obtained, my final fully upgraded ship uses 6x Gun Turret, 2 Magnet, 2 Lightning Core, 1 Agility and 1 Missiles... I don't even have to move my ship to win wave 20 just press fire.
So apparently in some levels its impossible to get 1st place, even after maxing out the top speed, acceleration and boost stats.... and boosting 8x or more.

Reminds me of lemmings, nice that they wave goodbye before committing suicide... some levels have bugs though making them randomly impossible to do, I know this from watching and copying the walkthrough exactly and still cannot finish. So as it currently stands the hard badge is the impossible badge, maybe someone else will have better luck
