The clues break the game... they don't light up until you fill in the right box, even if it matches the clues. So you can solve every puzzle by just trying every box. Please fix that so that the clues light up as long as there is correct number of ticked boxes inside crosses. This way it would help as a reminder of what rows and columns are done, but would not allow cheating.
It really killed all the fun in the game for me when there is a way to cheat one's way out of every puzzle.
Biggest flaw in this game is tha the solutions are not unique. You can get stuck early on with multiple non-obvious possibilities and then all you can do is trial and error.
It'd be fun but it's too unresponsive. On jump jump jump level, all I get is J and U and then the guy decides to just wait. Make it so that I don't deliberately have to slow down my typing (except if there is a trap of course) and it'd be awesome.
For some reason, when I press X the button event is forwarded also to the browser, that then scrolls it down because it tries to search the page for X. Maybe you could look into that? Other games can handle keypress events just fine.
Pro tip for prison wardens everywhere: 1) make sure your prison security works even if there are two escapees, 2) don't leave your money hanging around convicted criminals, 3) if possible, refrains from putting up instructional posters how to pull toilet seats and other fixtures and use them to knock out guards.
I think it's confusing that the change of type isn't shown on the actual level except with a little bit of twinkling. Otherwise might be a five star game.
It would be better to have list of available arrows somewhere on the side. There seems to be enough screen real-estate for it. Also keyboard controls would be cool.
Put some more reasonable keys or make it configurable and this would be quite enjoyable. Occasionally a bit hard to figure out what the hell is going on, and whether a hole is actually leading to death or another part of a level, but the atmosphere makes up for a lot.
I still reflect on the "death holes". I must mark it somehow)
