Would like to play this but every time I try to buy something to sell the price tanks... AT EVERY PORT.... wtf, fix this crap and this game could rock.
Man potential seems to be the watchword here. Got interested quick in the beautifully detailed world. I understand that this isn't supposed to be super in depth so I'm not expecting tons of detail like some people with quests and twenty other game changing add ons, but THE TRADING SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE!!!!! The prices swing so wildly that all I'm doing is buying low and then wondering around for an absurd amount of time trying to find which random new place wants what I got. I just saw that one island was buying salt for 110, so when I went to the nearest island and saw salt for 80, I bought a ship full and went back... to see that the price is now 80. Now, I'm done. Fun at first but there has to be some rhyme and reason to it, like certain goods always being high or low at certain ports, especially when I'm trying to buy a ship that can do something besides run. Intriguing to annoying.
BEWARE!!!! It only allows one support drone, and it takes an upgrade point to change them... so best to just pick the one you want at start(if they aren't all there at start, options are: 1:Repair 2:Combat 3:Shock/Stun)
(At first I got excited about 3 drones, then pissed when I realized I had just wasted upgrade points.)
Would be better if the health costs didn't increase with level... that made it almost impossible to upgrade after a few levels in.... besides that, a pretty cool game! Just wish I could get further into it without having to play it perfectly.
Annoyingly difficult compared to the first... The gap between elite units and the rest makes taking the castles a real pain, especially with the limited army... Kinda weak that you can become a millionaire so easily but only have an army worth a pittance of that. And what happened to the max potions or did I just miss them?
A great effort but I liked the directness of the first game more. Having to play around with the troops and abilities made it too messy comparitively.
Would be awesome if u could switch the controls... my wrist is killing me after clicking my ass off through those first levels... auto fire or a key would be preferred here.
