Interesting, the site didn’t create a new achievement tab showing I had previously earned the badge of the day like it normally does, but when I checked the Kongpanions page, it showed the check mark for today.
I didn’t have a problem with the BOTD yesterday or today. It took longer to award than normal, but it did eventually award. Not sure if this matters or not, but I had previously earned both badges before they became the BOTD. Good luck and I hope that just a little bit of patience is all it takes for this to work for everyone!
Actually, that was part of the original plan (I was going to have a joke based on any UT inspired name), but I felt like it wouldn't really fit with the game that well. Like, the "Talking Plant" was pushing it as is, but an Easter Egg like that would break the tone too much, IMO.
A couple of simple things I wish people would've told me in the comments rather than just complaining about the game design:
1. The different foods only really matter once you have the "Yin and Yang" upgrade that increases your max stamina. At the start of the game, just buy burgers because they are the most efficient way to refill your stamina bar. Until you've started to upgrade your max stamina, there are no negative consequences to buying burgers.
2. It takes 4 punches to kill enemies at the start of the game, and killing enemies will award you a coin.
I know these are really simple things, but they just would've been nice to know when I started playing.
Actually eating burgers does decrease your stamina a little bit every time. It's not always noticeable on the bar because it's a very small decrement. Brocolis increases your stamina a little bit.
From the ending door, you can get back to the warp gate fairly easily by jumping off on the left side of the platform and falling straight down. If you miss, no harm done. Just make an adjustment and try again.
*SPOILER ALERT* Thank you SO much for not throwing in some stupid-ass plot twist like so many other games on this site are fond of doing. It seem kinda weird, but simply having Henry go to New York without him dying in a horrible accident made me really, really happy. Even when Marianna passed away, you introduced that into the story in a way that fit well. Apart from that, the game itself is wonderful! :D So yes, thanks for the great game!
I absolutely love all of your games, but one thing that you could possibly add to Bullet Heaven and Adventure Story that would make things even better (I know that you are currently busy with EBF4, but maybe afterwards) would be a short little cut-scene that explains why are traveling from one region of the world to another. For example, why did he go from the outback to the snowy area when he didn't see either Lance or Natalie there the whole time? With a fun little creative video, it would make the story a little bit better, and enhance the game from that aspect. Thank you :) 5/5
It's not bad, but the sticking keys just kinda ruins everything once you get to some of the higher levels... I recomend doing something to get that fixed...
Unless it was intended for people to click randomly, a couple of things that could help with that would be a points system where each wrong click costs you points and/ or a hint button that might cost points per use. I found myself clicking randomly on a couple of levels, but this game was put together really well! 5/5
It is a proven fact that men are better at compartmentalizing than women, but women are better at multitasking than men. That must be why my I'm only decent at this game :)
This game is amazing! It is nothing short of a beautiful work of art. Not only are the levels of the game wonderful, but the story behind everything ties it all up. Above all, I think that the best part of the entire thing is how this game is inspired by a TRUE story (a very sad one at that) and someone had the heart to express this story in this way where everyone can feel such powerful emotions from a game. 10/10 :D
