I thought Pseudolonewolf would tackle Kongregate's history by making the best RPG series that this site has ever known, Mardek RPG. Of course, I was wrong, Clarence's Big Chance just gave him the platformer crown, too. Amazing game, and, as always, great work. Needless to say, 5/5.
Great game, quite simple, very clean and very well done. And it's always great for a game to acknowledge a genius, specially if it's someone who isn't recognized enough for his efforts, and even more so if that man's name was Nikola Tesla. But getting back on track, very good game, simply 5/5.
Just...perfect. Very, very good, seriously. Just another demonstration of good gameplay and storyline fighting graphics and unjustifed violence....and the good guys win again. 'Nuff said, 5/5 and hoping to see more from you!
Just loved the final frase (attention, spoiler alert!):
"My god, it's full of jelly!"
Incredible catchphrase to round up an incredible storyline, kept in perfect line with the dazzling graphics of this fast paced game. Keepu up the good work, Greg, we'll be waiting.
By the way, how did you come up with the monkey riding the toast dragon? And is it all a reference to Nietzche or is that just me?
Frustrated in the boss battle, I went back to the instructions to look for a hint:
"Down for fastfall (useless?) eh? That's it! I'll go as high as I can and fastfall on the boss, finishing him once and for all!"
Well...that's not it, but very nice game anyway!
I find it quite funny and nice, actually. Too slow at the beginning, but in future levels it starts to go up to a more gameplay friendly speed. Also liked the menu interface and the music a lot, but I'd add somewhere in the instructions that those fruits give you a quarter heart more of life. Not a bad game, despite the comments! 4/5
So, I suppose Fuby didn't do this on purpose but, for all of us who still wanted to make the perfect runner after beating the game, there's a little "trick". You can press continue and do the final level again. Each time you complete it, it will award you 10 more expendable points. Then, just run into an enemy and it will take you to the "shop" screen. There, we can finally max out that acceleration to make the perfect runner!
By the way, great game on the Canabalt series. I just find acceleration a bit expensive for it not being that good. Either way, great work and five stars for Fuby!
Great game, great fun, great addition to the Canabalt genre. There's only some little things that aren't clear after playing the tutorial:
It isn't quite clear the first times, but the grapple isn't automatic. It works when you're holding the jump button, X. Also, the Stone Skin effect that comes from going fast basically means that you kill enemies by just touching them.
As I affronted the last level, I too wished to die, wanted my little spaceship to plunge into the blackness of the background after being hit by one of those little green lasers. I wanted this just so I wouldn't have to get to the inevitable end of one of the best half hours of gaming I have ever done. To call this game fantastic would just be insulting, it's more than that. It just took an old topic and completely twisted it into a masterpiece of something I call art. Obviously, 5/5.
It'd be really nice with shorter levels and a sandbox mode. I got bored pretty soon, the sandbox would be nice because probably most players have thought of making the perfect bird army and couldn't make it in the 10 rounds haha Nice game alltogether
Apart from the time powerup, there is a moment where you only have one piece left and there is only one piece under it, but time passes and you dont know what to do. There comes grey, it only destroy one block buy it automatically targets a block under a key piece, so iy can be pretty good.
Amazing game, only complain is probably too short, appart from that, its terrific. The atmosphere created by the art, the music and the story is just absolutely great. Really good work, I look forward to seeing more of these!
Its really a great game, and I absolutely love the presence of the herring...its so random and I didnt get it until I saw who made the game! But its true that the code part is kind of hard to figure out, because there is no response if you only tipe gravity or energy
