'Tis way too good... also, for you people, I'm gonna put here the chars' abilities:
Mario: Fireball at 2nd powerup, can swim and can run. His jump is medium.
Link: Gains Master Sword at 1st powerup. Can throw boomerangs. At 2nd powerup, he gains the Magic boomerang and can shoot swords. His jump is good.
Bill R.: His shots get bigger at 1st powerup. He gets a shotgun at 2nd powerup. His jump is great.
Simon: He can throw one more axe per powerup, axes pierce blocks, as his whip does. Has doublejump ability, however, has no air movement. His jump is poor.
Mega Man: Can charge after one powerup. Charged up shots pierce blocks. Can slide to pass slim passages or go faster. His jump is good.
Samus: Obtain long beam after 1st upgrade, wave beam after 2nd. Can bomb jump and morph into a ball. Cam move while in ball form. Her jump is great.
The story is a little bit soap opera and the cutscenes's graphics weren't all that great, but the gameplay was tottally neat-o, on the prequel, I sure hope to have a worse backflip, because the way it is, you can avoid all damage.
Okay people... I figured how to beat the game! Just get the combination of thunder and rock first, then get fireball, AND YOU MUST USE EASTER STRIKE! Upgrade, rinse, repeat. Also, thunder spear is a lifesaver.
I'll give it a 4. IHMO, Too easy, I like these games (Whoo, Frantastic badge - Impossible and 60 points!), but this one is only about avoiding... After you buy all the shooting upgrades you don't even have to aim...
Plus, Nope, this ISN'T that hard, once you can do skid jump on one tile, you should be fine.

Little FAQ for you all...
Grimtooth has the best mana cap, cave of trials is easy if you 1. Mass attack, 2. Put a LOT of ranged units. You get different cards by playing different heroes. At the end game, it doesn't matter if your hero is killed 10K is a low amount.
