Fun but it gets really tedious grinding through all the matches. Lower-level enemies seem to have amazingly powerful attacks compared to what my team can do.
Nitpick: I hate that I have to answer "Sure" to every prompt. What kind of military officer gets away with answering "sure" to their commander? It sounds like I'm an unmotivated teenager.
I'm loving this game. That said, there are just too many unexplained aspects to it. I've been reading the comments and it's clear that most other people also want more information about units, ranks, upgrades, enemies, etc. It would be great to have a resource where everything is explained more clearly.
Is there somewhere I can find out what the difference is when I upgrade a Rank VII tower and pay out a huge sum of gold? I'm not seeing any information on what I've paid for. Also, if I don't have enough gold when a Rank VII tower ranks up, do I just lose the option to convert it?
Do the Gold Generators' properties stack? If I have five and they all have their Gold Medallion's fully upgraded, does that mean gold stays on the screen for 30 extra seconds? Same with Rarity...Is gold value increased by 25% with five fully upgraded Generators?
Possible bug: Against the lvl 10 (Tesire) boss, I sent the nano cloud ship "behind" the boss ship (so that it was between my bass and the nano cloud). But something happened when the boss became fully enveloped...It disappeared off the screen. The game froze up a few times, just for a second or two. Then it apparently reappeared, but off to the right, off the screen. Some of my towers were firing at it, but I couldn't see it. Eventually it made its way back onto the screen and I was able to destroy it just before it went full agro.
I'm getting my ass handed to me and my characters are only level 5. They all just suck and have poor equipment. It seems like on the older versions of the game I could find/buy better equipment.
I'm confused by the fact that the "game ended' after just a few levels, and when I selected the same party members and started over with the first episode, they all got killed in their first encounter. I would have expected it to be super easy for them since they were all level 5 by that point. Some of us like to grind, and this game seems to forbid grinding.
Fun game. Liked the start when he just dies immediately. Had me a little confused until I realized that it was supposed to be that way. The boss is only easy after you lose a few lives figuring out its behavior. Enjoyed it.
