So basically you spam horsemen and win (exception being the first levels respectively). Focus on the Mining upgrades first followed by the building and horsemen upgrades afterwards. Horsemen kill everything with ease and don't need backup.
It's got a few bugs: 1. when an animal is attacking your wall and you push it back with the double barrel they continue to attack in place instead of walking back to the wall and 2. my saved data didn't work correctly. It pushed me ahead 1 round with my cash but locked all my weapons again except the double barrel. Otherwise pretty funny and fun causal game.
Yeah.. I'm not sure how but actually the mines seem to be the best weapon for general clearing. True, it's not helpful for the guy in front of you but spaced out and in key spots the mines pretty much keep everything at a minimum while quickly building up your energy for emergencies. Plus they kill everything in one hit and anybody nearby!
I remember loving that game too! What this game needs is a lot more fluid feel to it. You have the basics but should add elements like a fast forward (or a slightly faster feel) and a detection when the ball has left the screen. A lot of what the Incredible Machine had was obscure chain reactions you had to figure out and not tedious platform placing to continue simple trajectory tasks. Also, it froze on "loading..." at level 10. You're definitely getting there, it just needs polishing. Great work!!!
Thanks for you feedback Athrial. I agree that the game speed could be slightly faster. The game has only 10 levels so far. I will be uploading more levels soon.
I'm finding that as long as you 1)but a vacuum and fully upgrade it asap 2)put about 8 skill points into $$$ and then the rest into health 3)buy the shotguns then final gun for the remaining 3 slots 4)buy the Gunpower Hull, NOT the Cruiser; this same is really easy and you can skip almost all the extra parts.
Pretty early on this game reminded me of Shadow of the Colossus. I dunno it just had that atmosphere of abandonment and collection to gain power. And by the end, well, yeah this pretty much shares the exact same story-line! Fun though, I sure won't complain.
A very stimulating game indeed. Pretty hard too until I found the PERFECT combination that absolutely broke the game. Even the survival mode pretty much only consisted of replacing cheese every once in a while. I didn't even have to try the last 6 units since piercing blocks were so effective!
The Birdman Tribe Leader and Thunder Dragon are definitely the best characters. The flight ability with fast, damaging attacks are really the way to go.
The Birdman Tribe Leader makes this game super-easy. 1. he flies 2. he has Staff (super quick/ powerful medium-range attack 3. he has Gust Breath just in case you don't want to get close
This was an entertaining game. It really did seem too easy though. Once you got the LMG things were pretty simple to kill and everything else bought was almost useless (except traps at the entrances). Maybe if you healed, repaired, or rested slower (or only in your fort) the game's difficulty would balance better. Still, it kept me playing a couple times for kicks! Thanks!
